Ahsoka (Disney+ coming August)

Ahsoka is coming soon, a little over 2 months away! To say that I'm getting excited is an understatement!

I'm extremely excited to see the live action Thrawn and Ezra Bridger.

I'm hoping we get a couple of surprise cameos from other characters as well. I'd be over the moon for a couple of Clones to make an appearance, maybe captain Rex?

Anyway, what are you hoping to see and what are your predictions?

That's probably the best method of doing it. Between me and my wife, and my sister we have a lot of streaming platforms that we could alternate between each month and save a fair bit of money if we just binge the shows.

I overly didn't watch Clone Wars (I just straight into The Mandalorian, The Bad Batch & Obi-Wan) because I fell asleep in the first 15 minutes of the very first episode + was told by other friends how longgggg the series was.

I'm sure I'll catch on fast for Ahsoka; I did relatively when I watched The Bad Batch. I'm wondering if they'll show flasbacks of perhaps Grogu in it?

I didn't see the entire Clone Wars series but I saw the majority. Enough to know what happened but there's a few characters that pop up here and there on Bad Batch and stuff that I don't know of.

I've been absolutely smashing the new series though. I've read a lot of people disliked Obi Wan but I thought it was incredible.

I'm hoping we see a bit more of Luke's new Jedi Academy. Maybe even a couple of new characters reintroduced into Canon like Kyle Katarn from the Jedi Knight series games (hopefully some sneaky little Easter eggs to bring some Old Republic stuff back into Canon, the Revan era etc)

Happy to see Ahsoka get a series, she's one of the most interesting characters in the franchise imo, but I'd be lying if I didn't say I'm pretty burnt out on all of the Star Wars and Marvel releases...

I definitely agree with @(you need an account to see links) about the over-saturation of those franchises. I'm thrilled to have an Ahsoka series - she's my favorite character from that franchise - but they've leaned heavy on cameos and callbacks, and I've liked each series and new season less than the ones that came before them. i don't have the mental bandwidth to follow along with every piece of media leading into these shows, so hopefully what little I caught of the Rebels series will give me context for this story.

I too am very behind on the series releases and general lore - SW isn't my fandom but I really liked the Mandolorian - but I'm a fan of Ahsoka and was very excited for her first appearance. I hope they do something special with her series.
