What is Lackadaisy?

In Tracy's words: It's about a troupe of jazz musicians and unlikely gangsters running a St. Louis speakeasy in the era of Prohibition. It falls somewhere in the realm of historical fiction, drama, dark comedy, and abject nonsense.

Basically, imagine gangster bootleggers as cats!

I've been following/supporting Tracy on Patreon since 2006-ish and I just LOVE this webcomic. Each character is well defined and her art is just beautiful.

ahh I really loved this pilot. I'm hoping they get picked up for a full series while still maintaining the work ethic they had. It was described as a far healthier environment than the normal atmosphere is currently in the animation industry. (lots of inter-animator contact allowing for animators to indirectly encourage eachother to work good!)

Oooo! This is really awesome, Brittany. I know you really like to use Lackadaisy emojis, so I'm super excited to finally see more of this. Jazz musicians, gangsters, and cats? Sign me up! I also love all their names lol! The fact that each character is well defined and the art is beautiful speaks to the talent and dedication of the artists. They did a great job bringing this to life!
