    Benders Favorite Monitor

Would you ever believe someone telling you in 20+ years theyd have a monitor that can bend at any whim? If you told me that when i was 12 playing neopets i would have NEVER believed you. Corsair Flex monitor is like 2k.... its insane.

Man, ever since these came out I've wanted to try one. Currently I use two monitors for my work computer, but maybe I'll make the leap this year to buy a big curvy one! Especially since the resolutions on them are so crazy

I'm not going to lie, I've never seen the appeal in them? I feel like I would get motion sickness (I tend to get it quite often, especially when I use the peripheral vision), and I feel like this would just trigger it for me.

    Thank you Hellraid <3

I also have severe motion sickness, but I have a curved monitor! I find that it actually is really nice - I keep my games centered on the monitor and have space to have windows on the side. Results may vary but it's a really nice replacement for dual monitors as long as I'm not 100% fullscreen

Curved monitor is really nice. Helps me with neck strain from looking side to side so much, and i LOVE the way it looks. This one tho.... if it curved like 280 around me I think I may have some trouble. But the technology that lets this happen is super cool.

oh also keep an eye on FB Marketplace! I have seen sooo many monitors that people bought for remote work going up for sale now... they are used yeah but I got a nice 1200 monitor for just 500 with a year of very light use!

I'm in need of a desktop so I may look into something like this.

I was thinking duel monitors. My husband is trying to get into cinematography and wants to try to start editing some of his own videos.

Crazy how far technology has come. I remember when I was 15 and bought my first 19inch flat screen for almost $1000.
Now you can get a 75inch for that price.

I'm curious to see where we go. I'd love to see solar panels come down in price.

It's not one of the crazy huge curved ones, but I have a 40 something inch monitor for home remote work and love it so much. I have space to have two spreadsheets open side by side with a solid view of both. Drives my coworkers nuts when I screenshare on conference calls since my massive monitor looks tiny on their laptop screens =P I used to have dual monitors but this is way better.

I have a large curved monitor at home in my office but nothing that bends quite that much. It’s wild how much things are changing lately.

A buddy of mine sent the group chat a link on Insta talking about a wireless TV. It runs for a month off one rechargeable battery, assuming about 6 hours of tv time a day. It can suction to the wall with vacuum tech and allow you to literally pop it off the wall and stick it somewhere else. Truly insane. I think one was $3k and you could get 4 to combine into a super screen for $10k. Can’t afford that but it’s cool to think one day that will become more affordable.

I am not a fan of curved monitors and I don't know why. At home, I have two 27" monitors. Even at work I have two monitors, I believe they are... 24" or so? I just am so used to having two that one curved one would be so strange to me!

I personally agree with Cinnamon. I use one 27" and one 24" and I'm personally happy with being dual screen.
I understand the appeal to a curved monitor, but I guess I'm just so used to running dual monitor. Going back to a single wide/curved monitor just doesn't seem up my alley.
Everyone definitely has their preferences though!
