[HOW TO] Score the most points in the 🔥 Epic Neopets Giveaway 🔥

So I was chatting with @(you need an account to see links) about the giveaway and what needs to be done. Decided that a little guide would be good for all those thinking about joining but unsure how they should go about doing it.

So I'm sure a lot of you know about the (you need an account to see links) that Joe is hosting where the prize is a 500+m Flaming Evil Coconut. It's an item that he has held on to for a really long time so you can be sure it's not a genned one.

So, what's the BEST way to do this giveaway to ensure that you have the MOST points to win?
Let's breakdown the giveaway post.

Step 1: Participate

There are three things you need to do to be entered into this giveaway.

A. Follow on (you need an account to see links)

• Log into your Instagram account, head to the link above and click 'Follow'

B. Like the (you need an account to see links)

• Thereafter, head to the post and click like!

C. Reply in the (you need an account to see links) with a short paragraph or story on why you want to win

• Write a reply in the giveaway thread on why you want to win. Write about your motivations for joining the giveaway, what this forum means to you, and why you think you should be the winner.

Step 2: Extra Points

In order to have a higher chance to be picked, you need to do more things for extra points, namely the following:

A. Sharing the cK forum post OR Instagram giveaway post on your story and tag @(you need an account to see links)

• Once you've liked the post on Instagram, if you click the 'Share' button and share it on your Instagram story, you get an extra point!
• Another way you can go about it is to share the link to the cK forum post somewhere on your story

*Do take note that quality is very important in the things you write and what you share. Don't just do it on a throwaway account with no followers or on some place that nobody sees. The main goal of this giveaway is to increase exposure of our community and to let people know that we are more than what everyone thinks.

Some reasons you may use:

• Ryugotchis (our very own 'pets' that you can feed)
• Userbars (similar to Neopets' NeoBoard Avatars)
• Accepting Community
• Free and Fair Outlet
• Active Mods
• Safe Environment

There are many more to list but the mere fact that we don't get the same shit as people get on NeoBoards, Neocord, NeoReddit is GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME.

B. Advertise about the community elsewhere OR tagging your friends via comments in the post on IG

• Bonus points if you leave a comment and tag your friends who also enjoy online communities.
• I can understand the repercussions of sharing these information with your friends in real life because you never know who might be playing neopets and be report-happy as well. Do what you think is most comfortable.
• If you're looking to share on Reddit/Neocord, it's important to be subtle. And by this, a good way to be discreet would be to PM users that seem like they would be open to joining or are jaded/were shunned by others from the community.
• It's quite a delicate situation and you do not want to out yourself as a labelled cheater so be sure to highlight the good things about our community as per what I've listed above.

Step 3: Eligibility

• This is open to ALL members. As long as you've signed up for an account and followed steps 1 and 2, you're considered to be part of the giveaway.
• The giveaway is open from the 18th of February 2023 all through till the 20th of April 2023. As of the time of this post, you still have a month and a half approximately to get out there and gain more extra bonus points.
• Your verification of your Instagram can be either sent privately to the mods or pasted in your post on the forum. You can black out your social handles if you'd like to remain anonymous.

I hope that this little guide is somewhat a good guideline for those looking on entering but wasn't sure what to do!

Just want to share my appreciation here! Thanks so much for doing this.

We've been getting a noticeable amount of new followers through social media. The intention here is to get more people familiar with our community, an awesome adult crowd looking to cater more Neopians and ultimately continue to grow.

This definitely helps with outlining the details of our giveaway and hopefully answers any unanswered questions from the main thread.
