Linkin Park Announces ‘Meteora 20th Anniversary Edition,’ Shares ‘Lost’ Single With Chester Bennington Vocals
The best-selling band has released the hard-charging track unearthed from the 'Meteora' sessions.
Twenty years after the release of Meteora, Linkin Park is revisiting their mega-selling sophomore album: Meteora 20th Anniversary Edition will be released through Warner Records on Apr. 7, the band announced on Friday (Feb. 10), and will include multiple previously unreleased songs in addition to several other fan-friendly collectibles.
One of those unreleased songs, “Lost,” arrives today as a fleshed-out, fully realized showcase for the band’s Chester Bennington, who passed away in 2017. Linkin Park recorded “Lost” for Meteora but the track didn’t make the final track list; while scavenging through hard drives for the 20th anniversary of the album, the group rediscovered the song and Bennington’s intensely riveting vocals that serve as its highlight.
Really looking forward to hearing all these unreleased songs in like a month and a half.
Wow. Recently heard some LP songs that got me to save some songs I didn't have in my streaming library. I still can't believe Chester passed away 6 years ago.
Cool share! The song is pretty catchy... kinda reminds me of 'Numb'. Looking forward to new music with unreleased Chester vocals!

Omg. Will take another listen once I can get back onto my PC (I can't even right now) but!!!!! Ive been on an LP binge for a while and this is absolutely beautiful. Artists live on through their music, but to hear something new (to us), especially with Chester, I can't. This came at such a perfect time. Cannot wait to get lost (ahaaa) in it.. thank you for sharing!

Yeah, it's super cool! I briefly joined the Linkin Park discord to attend a livestream type thing with some of the band members. It feels so lucky to be able to hear previously unheard stuff with Chester in it. I had a difficult time listening to their music for a couple years after his death because it just hit so much harder.
Okay this song is awesome! And the music video reminds me so much of the one they did for Breaking the Habit <3
This is hitting all the nostalgia feels and I can't wait to see what else they have hidden away.
Linkin Park was my first ever "favorite band" and the first concert I ever went to was Projekt Revolution Tour!

Has it really been 6 years since Chester died? Fuck it felt like yesterday I just found out :c
i love linkin park!!!! mike shared a couple more numb-era songs on the howard stern show but they both purposely talked over them the whole time so we'll have to wait for the real thing :p these two are also more like 80-90% finished compared to lost which was 100% done.
