    Tips for increasing endurance?

Looking for tips for how people got started running etc.
I play field hockey, played a game on Friday, managed to last about half of the first half and all of the second half but I was dead by the end of it.
Looking for tips on how people build endurance/cardio as I have no idea when to start.
    Thanks!

I'm no expert at this since I also need to retake exercise yet lol

But I think habit is important. Maybe some morning jogs or late cardio to get your body used to it (if you have a dog that's a fun plus!)

Sorry I can't help more, i'm sure someone else will come with better advice

hiya! former college long distance runner here. sadly all my tips are probably ones you already know of but they really do work! running consistently in a variety of temperatures/humidity/etc and slowly increasing distance (also recommend packing electrolyte drinks or gels), incorporating HIIT into workouts, and intervals (sprintervals if you will) into your running workouts feel free to PM me if I can be at all helpful!

completely agree with sergeant fart. endurance is something you just gotta keep working on it for it to build up. i highly recommend HIIT as it helps with good burst of energy and then steady cardio just to build up stamina and lung capacity. if you also had lots of endurance in the past, your body already has the muscle memory so it shouldnt take as long to build back up

Thank you! I've had bariatric surgery so electrolytes are really important for me as I dont get enough hydration normally.
I've been looking at HIIT classes etc at local gyms. Appreciate the tips!
