Honestly, I wouldn’t even remotely THINK about playing this on the switch. This game is meant to be played on a PC (or new gen console like PS5 but even then…). I feel like there is no way the switch can handle the performance required for this game without MASSIVELY downgrading the quality of the graphics and environment. Which is something they had to do for the PS4 version and people complained about that. So now imagine the switch. Yeah nty glt LOL

It is, but they had to render down certain things within the game to get it to run. I’m not sure if any patches have improved this, but I remember seeing a lot of reddit posts and gaming site articles complaining about it.

Yeah, the switch version doesn’t release until then. Likely because of all of the changes made to the game for it to run on that platform, if I had to guess.

Does it actually run well or is this a situation like when they decided to try to put cyberpunk 2077 on last gen consoles?

Oh I didn't realize it wasn't out on Switch yet. I'm just not much of a PC gamer so I'm conflicted. I don't mind having a lower framerate etc if it means I'll actually play it. Guess I'll wait til November and see how it's holding up!

I haven’t played it on PS4. I’ve only played it on PC. Some people say for all things considered it runs “fine” on the PS4 and whatever the “older” Xbox is, but I’ve also seen a lot of others say it doesn’t run the same when they compare it to playing on a PC and they (the developer)had to simplify the environment to have it run smoothly. Like details were cut/changed to how things look in th game itself so the hardware could process and run it.

I dunno, personally, like I said I wouldn’t bother playing it on a Switch or last gen console.
