Hello all. You can call me Cat if you'd like.
She/her. I am closer to 30 than I want to be and have recently returned to Neo and CK!

Found Clraik in 2011 when I was deep in Neo-addiction and moved across from other similar sites as the community here was much better.
Left both the game and the forum by about 2013.



I can't really pinpoint exactly what has drawn me back!

Last year I left my stressful job in big-box retail for the cushy work-from-home life.
The pros outweigh the cons, but it can be a bit lonely. So like any good millennial, I found something nostalgic to occupy my time.

On Neo I like to customise my pets, I can't resist the pretty shinies of NC.
I've also gotten into the battledome on my return and have started working towards a decent set for my lower BD pet.
Back in the day I lived on the avvie chat or in various guilds, so was a little sad to see the AC has mostly died off.



Outside Neo, I live with my partner of six years and our two spoiled bunny rabbits. :3
I also game on PS4, and have been replaying The Forest in anticipation of the sequel.

My biggest life goal is to own a house, with a chill home office for me to work and play in.
I would like to build a PC someday, even though I have zero experience in that field - I just like to tinker.

I look forward to being more active here, CK already gives me a sense of belonging which is lovely. :3

Hello Meercat! Welcome back to neo and cK. I used to be big into avatar collecting too, but now I just look for ones that match my pets and don't really pay attention to the count :-) I'm sure people would love to see pictures of your sweet bunnies over at the (you need an account to see links)!

Also, I've been seeing your username around and I must admit, every time I think of meerkat manor which I used to watch religiously, and recently rewatched too. It's the best 'reality' tv show ever made imo. Have you seen it?

House-buying is a hot topic around here recently. Myself and another member both closed on our first homes in the past couple of months and there's a couple of people currently kicking off or going through the process as well. My favorite feature of my place is also definitely my new home office. I've never heard of Meerkat Manor, but upon googling and seeing it's narrated by Bill Nighy I really want to watch it.

I am the sort of person that always has videos going in the background, and it seems like it would be great casual listening.
I often chuck gaming streams on when it's just me in the house.

I had no idea how different is AC now and there are still some active guilds out there. It's incredible how with the general state of the site we can still find things to/want do lol

The community has grown so much over the years. I hope you're enjoying the many new features here, including our secret userbars.

Don't be afraid to dive into PC building. I recommend looking into the parts you need, which is only a handful. It's like putting together a puzzle, and websites like pcpartpicker make it easier for you. I also recommend the buildapc/bapcsalescanada (if you're in Canada) sub-reddits for deals and whatnot.

no ps5 for meeeee, they are still quite hard to get here actually? like, large deposit and a waiting list. i'll wait until my ps4 starts to really kick the bucket i think haha.
but I love Jackbox games!! and I am terribleeee at Fall Guys. hopefully next one :3
