National PIE Day!!!!!!!!

just cause it's pie day. idk if I talked about it here before, but I'll never forget this one pie I had. it was somewhere in the states.. close to Thunder Bay. the pie they had was astounding. mouth-watering. ok. it was like a sour cherry and peach mix. the crust, so flaky. oh and so thick. like, good thick though because it needed to hold all of the filling. if that place is still open, I will go one day. I need it again at least once in my life.

Pie is one of the best desserts ever. I like to bake my own on occasion but I only have ever done blueberry and peach myself. I can't really name a bad pie.

The QT3.14 userbar might make a comeback if there's enough interest. The community didn't respond so well to the event last year, so audience participation is going to be a major deciding factor in whether or not that userbar is retired.

I can personally say that it was available / announced kinda late and for a short time so even though I actually bought a pie I didn't make it before the day ends. But now that a lot of people know about it, I'm sure more people would be able to prepare and participate
