UpperDeck has posted a new statement that physical card redemption is available again, the structure is remaining the same, and new pack release timelines are TBD.

tl;dr:
Basically, they will be releasing digital trading cards on a weekly basis that could potentially be redeemed for physical cards later if they become part of the physical side of the brand. The digital cards can include chase variants, printing plate cards, and (most notably to me) virtual prize codes for some customization items.

That's just selling the pet graphics in trading card packages! Did they forget that the Neopets brand once had a bonafide trading card game with world building, compelling stories and unique graphics?

Eh, unless it goes physical like the recent Tarot Deck being sold, I'm not interested. I don't really see many people buying these at all unless the in game prize item is worth it. Really wish they would stop wasting time, money, and energy on NFTs, this, and the match 3 apps. No one is interested lol

The cards just feel boring. There's some variant in the sets but its so minimal that it's hardly noticeable. At least the species all have their own font.
