What game should I Nuzlocke next!

After feeling sadge that I never got round to completing my Ice monotype generations challenge and being unable to locate the save, I've decided to do some more runs and post my stories!

But I'm stuck on what game and what kind of run to play.

At the moment, I'm leaning towards either a Sword or Scarlet Wonderlocke, where I wonder trade everything I catch away and use whatever I get in return. Scarlet seems like a good choice because it's still fairly active and Home just opened up a lot more options.

Another option I was considering was a Pokemon Go based Sword run. I catch a heap of Pokemon on Pokemon Go, transfer them to Sword and each time I catch something in Sword I swap it out for something from PoGo.

I was also considering the middle game challenge. Basically just play 3rd version of each generation. Yellow, Crystal, Emerald, Platinum etc.

There's too many options! Help!

honestly i triple dog dare you to do a nuzlocke on platinum. watching videos and listening to friends talk about it-

its one of THE hardest ones to nuzlocke. So i dont know if you stream or capture gameplay i would love to watch it!

I've actually finished one of those before! It took me 3 attempts before I actually cleared it though with the rules that I usually use.

I can definitely capture some things and post them. Given the grindy nature of Nuzlockes though I'd probably just limit that to things like rival battles, gym battles, important battles etc

I don't think my butthole is ready for another standard Platinum run just yet. But I can't work out how to add it as another poll option so i assume I can't edit the poll after posting.

Nuzlocke addict and expert (if I may be so bold, I haven't failed a single one) here! Emerald randomizer sounds like a lot of fun and a good challenge. Lockes where all pokemon, including those the NPCs use, are completely random are definitely more difficult than the standard ones, imo.

Finish the ice challenge! I would love to see updates about that! I tried it with fire type a few years back and I ended up frustrated lol

oooo all of those options you listed sound very interesting! I've seen someone do a pogo/shield locke, it was very challenging. I've considered doing mono-type runs myself.

you can always do pokemon scarlet with only one lechonk. I don't believe I've seen anyone do that yet

Maybe do all of the ones you really want to do? Someone will always be interested, I know I would watch.

Ooh I have been working on a Violet wonderlocke too!! started months ago and never finished, but it's been really fun so far. I added two rules for myself: no repeat pokemon at all, and after every badge you choose one pokemon to trade off. I also gave myself a clause that if the pokemon i got was more than like, 10 levels under I could retrade it once before settling on a team member.

yeah i wouldnt do it, thats me tho im personally still having PTSD from whitneys miltank.
