I do a lot of console and game refurbishing and sometimes flipping them (nintendo consoles mostly but I dabble in other areas on rare occasions.)

I'll get some pictures next time I'm in my workshop. I have an atomic purple/midnight blue funtastic N64 I'm restoring rn. I'm keeping this one though. It's my dream model and N64 is one of my fave consoles.

It was in an abandoned property that we were clearing out for sale (I had permission to take it. We weren't getting paid and I was allowed to take whatever electronics I thought I could salvage. I got a few other projects from this place but I'm not restoring them right now, I'm keeping them also.)

it was so disgusting, I got the console cleaned up but it fucking STINKS STILL. IT STINKS SO MUCH. I was informed the people living there before were heavy smokers and honestly the evidence for that was everywhere when cleaning it out. But it's like the smoke went rotten or something it doesn't smell like tobacco or tar.

It doesn't power on yet either, I'm gonna have to take a closer look, there isn't any corrosion of any kind by some miracle despite the filth internally, and I don't think any capacitors are blown. Might have to fix some connections but I'll be testing those later on after getting the fucking smell out. Cleaned a lot of dead bugs out of it too.

I'll do a full project update if anyone's interested. I don't have a lot of before pictures but I have a couple.
