Thoughts? I'm shocked something like this wasn't filed sooner to be honest...Neo's has had a lotttt of data breaches
Edit, gonna spoil the document just in case.

Someone took it that seriously, hey? I mean, yes, it’s a big deal, but class action lawsuit? Isn’t that a lengthy and expensive process? I feel like that person may not realise how it will end up…? AKA it’ll likely be a settlement and I can’t imagine much will come out of it.
Interesting.
I thought it would be sooner as well, but it could be that it just might have taken some time is all? Im not sure
But with a lot of the stuff going on with them, it just makes me wonder what this can lead to.
A few months back, someone shared an interesting petpage as well that dealt with Jumpstart and some of the crap they are involved with and the shady stuff they've been doing.
I forget the petpage though.
But I guess I need to take that with a grain of salt as Im not sure if that info was even true.
♥ Oh hai! ♥

So what, a user seriously brought on a class action lawsuit because TNT gave their account away to some cheater due to the breach? It's fucking Neopets, who cares. Only if that breach leaked everything about you and cost you your job, your spouse, your house and your childhood gum collection, then I could see why you'd want to do this, but otherwise, I don't see it going anywhere either.
I don't know much about the law to know whether they have a leg to stand on or not.. but I can't imagine this being a worthy endeavor? Nobody likes loosing data but this is a little overboard imo
Wouldn't JS have a legal team or some form of insurance for exactly this sort of thing? I can't imagine how expensive this will get for the person pursuing the legal actions. Oof.
Yeah, it certainly seems like a bit much...I guess maybe they spent a lot on NC or something and lost all that money so they're trying to recover their "loss".
Surely the amount they spent/are going to spend on this lawsuit costs way more than a Neopets account? Wth. Considering they've had multiple breaches, I guess it was inevitable. But like... its a struggling pet site...
Welp. Kinda feel bad for them...especially with all the positivity lately.
I read through the meatier bits of the entire document and it doesn't really reference any "damages" they have incurred outside of the essential information that was made available in the older data breaches and that, in theory, their (and their children's) personal data could be sold off and endanger them or put their identity otherwise at risk. It's (I believe intentionally) vague about what did vs what could happen.
