I thought I'd make a mega thread for retired items, how long they've been retired for, and roughly how many circulated in the game. I think how these items came about and why they're no longer in circulation could be something fun and interesting to read for many. I know I was curious thus I started researching!
I will also add in my own suggested solution based on how it disappeared. Hopefully TNT will take notice of this and start reintroducing more retired items back into the game either through events or game prizes or even back in the shops. If you have anything you'd like to add please do let me know in your replies!
PS: Not too sure if this was considered a guide thus I wrote this in Neopets Chat. If it's more suited to be a guide/information mods please move it to the respective sub-forum!
I'm going to start off with Stamps. The next few topics that I'll move on to will be decided by people in the comments

I used to have so many Island Aishas stamps when they were r30 and restocked all the damn time
i discarded them because they were worthless AND HERE WE ARE TNT WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS
Doing the stamps.. the sheer AMOUNT of retired items that were given in a one-off event or through annual events, never to be given again is a little too much to be honest. Sure if they were just collectibles it'd be fine, but some albums literally ONLY have items that were given out and none that are restockable.
How is stamp collecting, one of the features of the website, a feasible thing for most people to achieve.
I even see people complaining about saving up for a paintbrush, I can't imagine them saving up for years for a stamp album avatar.
Even if we were to spend money yeah, the cheapest album would be at least $50 USD (considering $0.5/m)
Hmm, I hope this comes off correctly, because this list and all the work you've done to compile it is wonderful, but how would this reach TNT?
The general public makes us out to be the devil, so I'm not sure they'd be keen to accept any ideas from us, especially in this scale.

Make use of the mod accounts on site where you used to auction rare stamps/retired Hidden Tower items (illusen and dr_sloth are a couple of them). You can do this once a month or on special occasions. I'm not sure why this was stopped but it would be nice to get some rare items back out there especially if you don't want to just give them away freely, although that would be nice too!

Its been implied that TNT lurks here or some members may have accounts. I think Tony was bragging at one point about that, and the fact he supposedly had "spies" who would report to him frequently.
