Newbie here and following the official newbie guide to help get started I made this account quite a while ago and have made a couple NC purchases, but that's it. I'm looking to be more active on here so I'd like to make my account look more legit!

I've been playing Neo since I think 2001, though was only able to recover a later created side account which has happily become my main. I'm very active, love customizing and playing around with graphic creating!

With your interest in creating graphics I suspect you'd enjoy some of the creative content contests we have (the Christmas one is happening right now) or making custom userbars to use an your avatar here. Are there any specific areas of cK you're wanting to get involved in? Ryus are a particularly popular part of cK, some recent members have commented they signed up specifically for those xD

I wish I was able to recover my original neo account, as I made it a day or after the site was created lol
But it got purged 💀
Oh, but customizing is a big thing for me as well! I love to buy NC here when I can as its much easier than trying to trade for stuff (and sometimes cheaper lol)

There tends to be a lot of events that show off your creative side, so be sure to keep and eye out for that!
There's actually one going on right now lol

Yes!! It can be soo much cheaper as you can do directly for what you want, rather then buying up GBC's etc, and then trying to trade for what you're seeking. Though I do enjoy the hunt and challenge sometimes haha

Not a silly question at all! Ryus are the little digital pets you'll see that a lot of us have in userbar stacks beneath our forum names when we post. They hatch from eggs in one of several forms, can grow and evolve and change to new species depending on how well they get taken care of. Mine is the first form of the dragon branch, currently being visited by another member's Ryu that's currently the first stage of the cat branch.
