What field are you in?

I'm an epidemiologist. I focus on chronic diseases in women and children instead of infectious diseases.

I like the topics I work on but not the job itself. I'm highly considering switching fields to something else in health but I don't want to get another masters so not sure yet.

I did go to culinary school, but I dropped out before I could get my degree.

Currently I work in the Health Insurance field. I work from home and basically operate as in in-between for members and providers. I started 5 or so years ago on the provider side, and recent moved to the member side last year.

Luckily, it's a laid back job and I'm right next to my bed when I get off haha

Homicide defense? Ouch... that must be tough. I've always thought it must be very, very difficult to be a defense attorney for someone facing homicide charges. Especially because I can't imagine there are a plethora of cases where the client is innocent/not guilty. Kudos to you for doing what you do.

Thank you! Yes, most of them are guilty, sadly. But there's a lot of external things that have a heavy impact in court decisions, so I try to seek a fair condemnation sentence, since there's a lot of mitigating factors, and considering jury court's prejudice and biases.

O wow thats amazing. I also see digital law as really going to become important. I was considering a M in that v post grad in disaster management but decided disaster maangement in the end

Ooh, thats great! My brother works for a company that deals with environmental disaster management and it sounds very exciting. They work on creating a lot of technology to help recovering impacted areas.

I genuinely love looking through this thread and reading about everyones experiences and work and how different everyone is. Some of these I would have never guessed and I find that so cool, idk just thinking how like everyone from all walks of life kinda gathered thru neopets its just so cool.

It's always been really interesting to me how most of the current Neopets playerbase are adults with like, careers and stuff. Like these people are studying how to cure cancer by day and doing food club bets by night, lol. Wish Neopets realized that and shifted their audience focus a bit!

I'm in law school! Before this I worked in entertainment/hospitality, like those places that combine bars with activities. And before THAT I worked in theatre tech
