Okay so I’m new to all this, but I’ve tried to read a bit on how to be safe when buying, but most of the stuff I read was in those other buying sites. If I buy on here, we’re all neopets users, so can we just send Neomails and make it look like a trade/adoption of some sort? Or do we need to use VPNs and shell accounts and stuff?

There are a lot of useful ways.
- They may give you a shell with the pet/nps/object.
- They may do a nf auction, a trade.
- Or simply the just give you the item as friends.

Remember that it's dangerous to share the name of your main, so I recommend you to have shells to trade in order to stay safe.

Yes. Never use the same IP address as you use for your main because then it can be traced back to you. Using a VPN or proxy to hide your IP and getting the right stuff to the right account is your best bet at keeping your account safe.
You can buy shells or just create your own with a VPN and new email address.

And generally my advice is don't overdo it. Like gifting a ton of super high value things in a short amount of time is something that'll definitely be noticed. Smaller gifts and being patiënt helps.

And you should always try to use VPN/proxies to avoid chain freezings and TNT linking those accounts back to you by using different IPs.

It’s depends what you’re buying and who you’re buying it from. It also depends on how you’d like it to be delivered.
For pats, many times they will come on a shell. If they don’t (maybe they are on a main and you’re buying just the pet) then the seller can send direct to your main or side.. or you can ask the pet to be put on a shell if they are able.

For items, I used to just send it as NF, or put the items on a shell and give access to the entire thing. It really depends on how safe the items are and how careful you want to be with your own account.
For NPs.. well I don’t usually recommend buying pure NPs.. primarily because there are a lot of flags and ways it can go bad. If it were me, I’d probably give the buyer an item(s) of similar value. Maybe have them auction them so I can make an offer of pure to have it look as legit as possible.

Tldr - it depends on you and the seller. Always ask questions to clarify if you’re unsure. Any seller worth their salt will happily answer anything.
