    We should start an anonymous ban appeal thread that offers tips on how to draft a good ticket for the Neopets team. To be clear, I greatly appreciate how the new Neopets team has been handling account restoration in recent years, but you wouldn't believe how rude, abrupt and generally unpleasant a lot of their correspondence with players can be. Some folks have forgotten their manners in their old age...

    I think that would be a fantastic idea.
    I for one would love to read and take some tips on getting an old account back.

    And its a pain in the ass to talk to them at times.
    I had a ticket one time (This was with Tony P), and was trying to get my account back. I legit didnt buy pets/NC at this time, but I traded for a pet that was. So I got iced.
    Tony then told me that I wouldnt get my account back and said he wouldnt take anymore info from me because I could lie and edit any type of information...

    Congrats on getting your account back! I've definitely read on the Neoboards that Alice has been helping those get their accounts back so long as they don't hit that rule that they need to know/mail from the original email. That seems to be the main roadblock stopping people.

    Thanks, I think the newer staff (TNT) are more relaxed.

    Most gaming platforms use suspensions or temporary bans, hopefully Neopets goes this direction **fingers crossed**

    Tony P straight up told me once to never come back to neopets. If he's fired for real I can probably come back.

    I was recently pretty lucky getting access to a few accounts via tickets. I think it’s important to switch up your writing style if you’re going to be putting multiple in. Don’t use the same form greeting, body, closing. Mix it up and just be polite. From what I’ve seen, the support staff has been pretty pleasant. Asking for standard information and generally resetting and sending a new password after one or two replies. The only issue is how insanely long it takes to get that first reply to your ticket. I’ve been seeing an average of three week turnaround time there.
