I'm thinking a lot about how to bring something a bit more meaningful to the forum. And I started thinking. We have a pokemon section, we even have showdown competitions.

Why not add on to what we do with showdown and have a gym, and elite 4? And champion that can be dethroned by competitors. This has been done to death in a lot of places, but I don't think we've ever had anything like that here.

Would anyone be interested in participating?
Would we have enough interest to justify opening something like this?
Maybe throw in some existing pokemon userbars as rewards or signs of rank in the league/beating specific members if staff gives the okay?

Without fully knowing what all this entails, i think it sounds like a really fun idea!
More frequent battles, reigning champions, maybe new sets of rules etc? Seems like a good time ^-^ I'd be down to participate if this is something that gets going.

Oh, I would be interested!
I love breeding and trading for Comp pokemon, so it would be great to do some WiFi battles or Battles on Showdown!

Wanna start out as champion to be dethroned? Makes sense to me that the owner be the one to be first champion

Wouldn't feel comfortable with that after all of the years I haven't competitively battled.
