NC Trading Glitch!

UPDATE: TNT has acknowledged the issue and is reporting that the glitch is fixed. If you were affected, you may still need to submit a ticket about your missing items as they do not appear to have retroactively fixed the issue.

Posting this here just in case you rely on the forum for your news.

Around noon NST today, it seems that NC trading started experiencing an issue where items sent via gift boxes simply disappear instead of ending up in the recipient's inbox.

We suggest halting any NC trading (or sending any items via gift boxes) until TNT gives an update about a fix.

If you have sent Neocash items with gift boxes and had them disappear, it's suggested that you file a ticket with Neopets support (look for the big blue "Create a Ticket" button). Be sure to include as much info as you can, such as which items you lost and who the recipients were.

Damn Neopets really can't keep it together no matter what it's always one thing after another I really hope people can get their items back and the info spreads quickly =x Hopefully whatever the issue is can be resolved easily too.

Has this always been a thing with neocash items? I saw where only the closet items are safe from being deleted by TNT if you submit a ticket. Guess i've been living under a rock. I saw a user had hundreds of nc items deleted by a tnt staff Delilah. Said user has had no rectification from tnt in almost a year. :/

I remember seeing boards as far back as 2017 about it. The first MME re-release capsule that TNT did put "ghost" items in inventories that would only show up when you went to use an upcycle cookie. But when people submitted tickets to get those items deleted, it would delete the originals, too, and in some cases, the whole NC stash.

I've got some ghost pops in my inventory, but like hell if I'll ever submit a ticket for them. Lol.

To stay on topic: I definitely traded for a few Stocking Stufftacular packs today and if my items don't get to their correct places I will McLose it

Thanks for the update, I'll add to the post. Not me posting this as a thread because I feared this being a days long process.
