My way for EXP is grinding for candies via raids

My favorite is outbreak hunting! Have you done any hunting yet?

ive only found two shinies randomly while there was an outbreak. pre evolve of scolvillan and the evolve of lechonk. ive had good friends send me some shinies and then just breed lol

I enjoy pain, so I do egg hunts!
I also like to breed for 5-6 IV pokemon as well, so I just seem to like to make it harder on myself lol
But I enjoy it still

oh god i do too, im also breeding quaquaval to help other people just starting out and sending them on surprise trade

Nice! I love hatching also, but outbreaks are always faster for me. If you want certain pokeballs though breeding is the only way to go.

This is 100% how I felt when I first started. I felt very overwhelmed and honestly was close to not playing because it felt so unorganized.
I don't really like the "open world" system they have in S/V. I think they did a WONDER Jon on Arceus, bit this one seems so... random. Hell, the game was even saying that you could go anywhere (which you can), but you also can't due to the last of the Pokemon and gyms.
I don't get it.

The way I was able to even figure it out was with a guide on who to actually battle first and in which order lol
After I found that, I was able to enjoy the game a bit more because I felt like I was back on the road of the story.
I like the game and I still have fun, but I honestly think this is the worst one in terms of organization );

Oh! As for lving! A good way to lv is to use the Go feature. The one where you just send your pokemon out and it goes on a rampage on all the wild Pokemon near it lol
I did this and was able to get a good amount of lvs in for my team

I also definitely to not let my pokemon go ham in the wild. I'll do try that!

ya kno, if i could find decent people for 6/7 star raids it would be nice.. soooo many people will troll and we end up just wasting time. i hate it here :<

Idk if I skipped the tutorial or something, but I haven't made a sandwich this entire game lol I just buy them.

To be fair though, I've always disliked the food gimmick GameFreak includes in recent games since they're not really fun to do...making berries was reasonable at least haha

Im so excited for the guide as I dont really use the sandwiches for shiny hunting lol I just hatch or get super lucky when Im lving a pokemon LOL
I'd love to try and hatch a 5-6 IV shiny Sprigatito and Hippopotas when I can!
