Before i bought S/V when along with splatoon edition switch at japan , my last pokemon game was from GBA fire red.

I do have pokemon go didn't play much now ( apparently GO is abandon by the player base due to that remote raid issue i heard?)

Yeah, they really screwed over the playerbase with that. Not sure what's going on internally with Gamefreak, Pokemon Co, and staff besides late stage capitalism. But they have been making bad decision after bad decision. Not to mention not QC'ing the games before they come out. It hurts seeing them fall like this. Hopefully they'll get straightened out soon.

So, Home is not going to be compatible with SV on the 24th now. and they messed up the raids for the paradox mons where it crashes the game...what are they doing

honestly sounds like niantic is running the show now. its ridiculous.

OK so now Home is supposed to be out 30th of May for SV after an update on that day. I'm staying hopeful~

I suggest we lay low and stay away from it for now till it somehow stabilized. Won't wanna be a potential "Round 2 data wipe disaster" victim haha

This is exactly what I was thinking. My partner is a PC gamer and I would ask him why he would always wait and not play a game he liked right away when it came out. I guess now everyone has to worry about it. It kind of makes me miss the days when games with like 3 pixels came out on the ps1 and would play pretty flawless. lol

Haha back then its flawless due to the time they have and lesser competition & lower technology maybe ?

Although most game does a few betas before launch to clear the bugs but it seems the bug/glitch still happens (just like covid) . But it still goes down to how the company developers invest / work on their games which leads to lesser issues.
