Transparency is a nice first step, really glad they're not just leaving us in the dark as they usually do. Though I agree, some actual time estimates would be nice to accompany each update.

It's definitely better to have it in a centralized, public on neo place, rather than comments in the neopets discord, or through support members through tickets.
But without timelines I'm like... well idk when really still at all.

I love how there's been an update and I'm also glad the team still seems confident enough to try to tackle long standing issues like the BD and its numerous issues.

But I will add, I also feel as if the team is biting up a bit more than they can chew. We've just recently seen how they try to handle most events and it ended with promises with no fulfilment. (The faerie quest event) I just hope they can remain close to their scheduled dates for 2023 and I'll be rooting for them.

I wish maybe they had put the events in under the different phases, so we'd have a better idea of when this stuff is coming. For example, the next event is Advent Calendar, could have put it where it corresponds on the list.

do they have a roadmap? I think that is the most important aspect. I like that.

Honestly something like this is needed like... regularly and not once in a blue moon because we keep biting their ankles about communication. We know the staff is working on stuff, why can't you just say it with some regularity?? Anyways I like how NC UCs are still not ~somewhere~ on the roadmap; I'm pretty positive that their "first phase" or whatever is still just planning how they're going to do it. And there's nothing wrong with that really, I do want them to land on a logical and sustainable implementation rather than just go for the very first thing they could possibly slap together. I know the integral player-turned-staffer members of TNT understand just how critical this is to the longevity of Neopets.com, but I highly doubt the higher ups/non-player staffers and investors do.

I will say that while we're talking about the NCUCs that I don't understand how they accidentally unconverted pets via some bad code earlier this year but can't just.. make it work. How much more could there be to it but to tell the customization item to replace the base converted pet and let other items work at intended. Can it really be more difficult than that?

Almost totally forgot about this incident. I'm hoping that means they already have the code to do it, just working on implementing the correct "new" old style art if that's what they're going with.
