Neopets Faerie's Hope allegedly has malware

Malwarebytes for Android detects Faerie's Hope as malware according to (you need an account to see links) and a few additional replies. This doesn't seem to be anomalous files but rather like identification with adware. NetDragon has done (you need an account to see links) things in the past with their Disney phone games so it wouldn't surprise me if this is all true.

NetDragon being what it is, I'm not surprised if they have some stuff under the hood that would be flagged just due to their origins but I wouldn't be surprised if they were like just below board data collection shit because China 🙄 I never played the game but I think I did download it so. Time to yeet.

Or a true positive of something not too severe. I think a lot of things could be flagged as Adware. Though of course, that's still undesirable.

Oh no lol I hope that's not true and it was false positive like Shawn said. I just deleted the beta version I have off my phone since I don't see any real-Neopets crossover, so there's no point in it taking up space... I really want to do the same for Island Builders but seeing as they had an AC event i'm still holding onto it

Idk.. I don’t trust random neo peeps to properly flag malware. It’s very likely a false positive in this case. I doubt neo is pushing malware out to people.
