The results of the winter 2022 DW poll have been released:

In prior DW releases, TNT has incorporated user feedback for selected dyes and selected a few "surprise" items.

Winter dyeworks were released December 1, 2022. TNT has also made the original items available for direct purchase in the mall. This appears to be the response to the lending concerns (addressed below).

Last month during the fall dyeworks, a few users had items stolen while lending. One user received a response to their ticket that TNT "discourage[s] lending items." In response, several users have requested that TNT re-evaluate the position. It appears that the current solution to avoid DW lending is to have the originals available for purchase for a limited time.

A couple of these I’d be really excited for like the aura & Caylis wig! And I’m always down for my eyes/facepaints to play with. Maybe TNT would make pretty pastel Christmas items not just dyeworks this year. That’s my hope!

Emanating aura would be beautiful if they used it, i love this item so much and regret trading the spare one i had, so it's definetly a item i'd be getting dws of

and about the lending, it's such a shame tnt answered like this, many dw items people go after exactly because they dont own the og one, so an assistance for the real owners of them is the least they could offer since this requires the person owning the item to try for the dw

asking for people ask for collateral is just shitty, specially with rare items, it's basically a trade and even though the collateral might be same value, it doesnt really matter since some items even though low value are way harder to find than others.

Thank you for the comprehensive post! While I have very little skin in the NC game, I'm quite excited for a few of the picks and hope they come out prettily and the colors are workable. I understand why TNT would take that position even briefly because well condoning lends just eventually makes more work for them to deal with in the inevitability that items get stolen. But like it's still pretty shitty to think like that, regardless. So much for supporting your customers.

I'd love to see the White Side Tree dyeworked into an ombre effect! It's such a nicely drawn item with a unique positioning, but the mass of white in the foreground doesn't match with a lot of customs!

REALLY would love the constellation markings. Some bright blue ones would be cool. Also we always need more glowing aura type things, and i love the sprinkling snow and caylis wig. Those are my top faves!!

Also the lending discourage is a bummer, I honestly can't believe ppl would go as far as stealing someone else's items. They're basically trusting you, scamming only makes things worse for everyone

Lol RIGHT. I could see maybe a lighter blush or a more brown color? Or a peach color maybe? All very subtle changes, though.
