Absolutely FUCKING not.

If TNT actually messes with the integrity of current UCs (either by making visible changes to the artwork, making them non-customizable as opposed to how they currently are, making them no-trade/no-move) I will actually stop playing Neopets as a regular player and just sell my stuff and quit. My permanent pets are mine for very specific reasons and if any of that were to change I'm out. I don't want them visually different. I don't want a little border around them on the PC because I don't even keep them active all the time. I don't fucking care about a trophy or avatar. Leave my FUCKING pets alone TNT I swear to FUCKING god. 🙄

I don't think TNT is unaware of how popular UCs are, making every UC uniformly untradeable would be tone-deaf even for them. Maybe I'm wrong but it seems like any pets made into a UC with NC would be the untradeable kind.

Yeah, I don't want them fixing too much if any at all on the current UCs. Like that baby Kougra example. They messed with the ear and shading. I like the old art for its errors and all...except the Darigan Gelert, please give them back their missing hind leg.
Now updating some like that Faerie Scorchio because the lineart is colored when it should be uniform black lineart, then that's fine. I'm also okay if they decide to go with more dynamic poses for some pets.

I don't care about pricing, or availability, but I do care that the existing UCs are not messed with in any way. I'd only be okay if they update the UC Darigan Uni to the better Circle pose, and maybe a few others to make them more dynamic or interesting to look at, but it's a fine line, and honestly, polling so many pets would be the best way to go for checking to see if people want an existing UC's pose to change. But honestly, they'd be better off allowing options--give us the choice to use the original art, a different dynamic pose, etc..

"Do you want a UC Darigan Uni in original style A, or do you want to select Option B to use around the site?" And it can go for all UCs existing and all the old art they plan on bringing back.

On a serious note the colors look way better than I expected, I did not like them messing with lines on some pets though. Leave my baby kougras/faerie blum alone.

I do hope they don't thanos all the UCs into NC ones, people are already crying about it on the boards.

I love the idea of unreleased UCs coming back (Faerie Bori, Christmas Aisha, etc.). Though, I am not too much of a fan of the dramatic changes that they are suggesting for some of the pets. That kinda defeats the whole point imo. Small updates to lineart and boring poses are fine, as long as they aren't scary lol. AND, like most everyone else is suggesting, definitely do not mess with the current UCs. That would be a slap in the face to most of the users.

Anyway, the survey itself feels way late. They should have been gauging this stuff from the get-go.

It's possible the site art team (or whoever they paid) already has an entire catalog of pet image concepts. Depending on feedback TNT will go with X and hire them again to do stuff like battledome poses, emotions, etc.
