Well, it depends what you mean by "winning"
There's still more than twice as many kacheek entries every week than buzz.
But buzzs are overrepresented in the bc lately,
relative to how many of them exist
as compared to kacheeks.

Thank you so much for this. I did some research a few months back trying to decide what species I wanted as a beauty contest pet and got overwhelmed clicking through everything trying to figure out what I can actually draw and what the competition for each of those species were like. This takes all of that and puts it into a nice chart that I can look at without going crazy.

It's looks as though everything I can draw "well" and actually like as a species are in the first half of the list so I'm liking my chances. Time to make some "art" and win some trophies! *fingers crossed*

the fact that more kikos than gelerts have been entering the BC on average lately is crazy.

As someone who only drew Kiko for years because of how easy it is and how much I suck at drawing, I'm surprised BC isn't flooded with them. Thinking of BC Kikos brings back good memories of my childhood guild and how we'd all get together in an AIM chat room (god I'm old..) and all draw Kikos for BC since besides maybe a chia, that's all we could draw. They were always the worst MS Paint job Kikos but every time at least one of us would win lol.

I, myself, made a little tracking of the BC for a few weeks as well because I wanted the avatar on some of my sides.
I stopped tracking after getting the avvies on my sides xD

I think the boxplots are a great idea, might be better to order from high to low for more natural interpretation, and maybe remove the error bars since they're not needed for our purposes?

Actually some of this is surprising. I never would have put Uni that high up in popularity. Lenny, Ruki, and Flotsam are all much higher than I would expect as well. Draik I would have put higher up as well.

Either way, really cool! I'm interested to see with more data if you keep going!
