Like a lot of other people, I wasn't sure which authenticator app would be safest for us ~under the table~ type folks so I did a bit of searching and wrote a 2FA overview/authenticator app guide.
Based on what I found via interwebs I decided to use Authy for my personal accounts tied to my home IP and for all my shell nonsense, Google Authenticator because it's got a much more simplistic interface (better for handling a large volume of accounts, if I hit a limit on the number I can store on one device I will let yall know ) and seems to store considerably less personal data than any other app might. Curious what other people decided to use in the end!
