Just because they do not discuss it on guild boards does not mean it's not a concentrated effort. Even if it's NOT organized as a group buy-out (which I would say is even just 2 or 3 of them d/t their extreme wealth), they all have the wealth to do it individually. They're essentially the Neo 1%ers.

That's... literally the point we are making? They don't discuss it onsite, which is often how they get away with what they're doing in terms of TNT being able to properly enforce rules that should be enforced (not that they often do anyways but not the point). Just because they don't talk about it on their guild boards, does not make anything they do offsite okay? It is still a coordinated effort amongst their group. To what extent really does not matter.
It is the fact that there is the culture amongst their group, period.
What they do isn't fair to the Neo economy nor the player base what they do. It is just... shitty behavior. And no, the M+ guild is not entirely to blame for inflation, but it is not silly at all to think they are to blame. It is silly to think they are not to blame.

So... Are they a good portion of the blame when it comes to inflation on site? Yes, absolutely. There is an abundance of examples of this.

Are their guild members the greatest people in that regards? Simply put: no, they're not.

You seem... oddly defensive of their community, for some reason. I think many of the cK members have made it pretty clear they don't want anything to do with M+, so why would you even suggest anyone here "give them a shot"?

Sadly, there are users on site who believe M+ originates from CK for some odd reason. I'd rather no one here even gives them the time of day, openly, since it'll just fuel fire to that accusation.

We try to let others know that we exist to be a positive community and we try to play the game in our own image and not villains/jerks that evilly rub our hands together looking for the next best way to make the site harder to play (what most people think of ck already).

I've always seen the ck community as a way for everyone to get what they want for their neopets account, whereas what M+ does is the exact opposite - funnel all the things into a few and then mess it up for the rest of the population.

The whole vullard thing is so bizarre to me cause I had one that was so hard to sell before at the regular 1mil price point.

Oh wild. I did not expect to find this post here today. Love to see many members here not condoning the market manipulation of M+ makes me heart happy. The economy and site in general are so fragile. I don't see a point in this massive manipulation other than making the site less enjoyable to play for the already small playerbase.

And while you may be right that individuals in that guild are rich enough to buy sets of items like this all on their own, there are definitely group efforts to do this on a massive scale, even if each individual buys their own items. It is definitely being done collectively.

Who really cares about item worth in 10 years to hoard if the site won't even be here in 10 years?
