Oh hmm idk if I really like the bg dyes... they're just very... monochrome to me? Which I guess is totally true of the og bg as well but they just look kinda lacklaster in the little previews.

This was my thought exactly, I was curious whether anyone would agree. To me, the fog BGs look like they took 2 minutes in photoshop to shift the hue in colorize >.>

That's kinda the general vibe I've had with the dw bgs - the glowstone path ones were also very very monochrome to me, and read as super flat. The green painting ones were a bit better but still kinda look like they just slapped on a filter and called it?

Yes, this. The background recolorings are the worst because I feel like they are so hit-or-miss. It seems the skill levels on recoloring vary wildly with the nc art staff on tnt. Like, I feel like these are really pretty and keep the same depth and feel as the originals

The Forest Fog Background recolors are so MEH... Like, they just placed a flat colored layer on top of it lmao

The Crystal Collector Witch Hat are CUTE! Loving the Black and the White ones

I was SO excited for the forest fog… kind of bummed at how it looks. Also why can’t the wigs work right with the mutant Acura

Now that I see them on I kind of wish I hadn’t dyed any at all aside from the lil witch hat. Definitely not the best set of dyeworks.
