TamperMonkey scripts NOT working in Chrome-based browsers but DO work in Firefox

So I've run into this issue in the past month or so randomly where some of my TamperMonkey scripts aren't working in any chrome-based browsers (Chrome, Brave, Edge, etc.) but the same scripts work in Firefox. This occurs on a Mac as well as PC.

I recently had to reset my Brave browser and it is possible that the issue started ever since. I have 2 script specifically that don't work (Food Club better and Better QuickStock). The buttons and options show up in-browser however when any action is performed, it simply says completed and/or reloads the page without actually completing the action.

I am wondering if this is a javascript issue or something that may have been reset within all chrome-based browsers but I am not sure. Looking to get some help with this.

Have you edited your scripts to say "https" instead of "http" yet? That usually fixed all the issues I was having with any script.

As Brittany said it's probably related to the breach event when they changed to https, some scripts are fixed to http only so you'll need to edit.

So I actually ran into that issue earlier this year and manually went through all my scripts and made sure they would work on HTTPS versions as well.

My issue is this: the buttons to place food club bets DOES appear and when I click the button it DOES retrieve the bets appropriately. When I click submit/ok, it seems like it is placing bets but does not actually place bets, and it appropriately reloads to the placed bets page. Same thing happens with the quickstock script. However, here after hitting submit, it just reloads quickstock again having done nothing. If I am allowed to post links to the scripts here as a reference then I will (I'm not sure if this is allowed).

The same script with no alterations works in TamperMonkey for Firefox but not in any chrome-based browsers. Other scripts such as dailies, bank and shop tills, sending all pets to lodge, etc. all work fine.

Yeah I'm not using that one so maybe thats the problem. I am using (likely older) a wall3y script that came out a while ago and worked well for a while. The creator on github said that they don't have time to update scripts recently but I don't see why scripts have stopped working all of a sudden but work in firefox?

That's likely your issue. Outdated scripts that haven't been updated in a while... if I remember correctly, Wesley's scripts haven't been touched in years, while the site has gone through a bunch of interface changes so some buttons and page elements altogether have different code/ID's and whatnot... everything needs to be updated eventually.

Can you post which scripts do work and don't work? Maybe there's a more clear answer here.

One I've noticed is the Neocola token script didn't work after I installed it ((you need an account to see links)) but I also haven't updated it to the https.

Yeah I understand they haven't been updated in a long time. They worked still however until about very recently. They still work in Firefox. Interestingly, I installed chrome and only installed these 2 scripts and in this fresh install scenario, the buttons and interactive interfaces don't show up at all. I am almost convinced that it some setting that I am missing within the browser. When I reinstalled my browser, it had to have reset something.

(you need an account to see links): shows interactive interface in my Brave browser (with settings synced), does NOT show anything in a fresh browser install with only this script installed and no settings changed (except the https thing).

Is there a script that can replicate that QuickStock script? I have been doing some google searching and the only one that shows up is that one.
