I've been reading your updates on Discord, I'm so glad she's got an owner like you.

I try to update both here and there since I know a few people here might not be on there. Poor girl had a rough day today but she'll push through. I'm so excited for when she can start pills and she doesn't have to go through shots anymore. I hate hearing her in pain :/

Her injection today was rough. She peed herself. I'm contacting my support now to see if we just switch her over to pills and I sell the injections I have. This is clearly too stressful for her

I'm so sorry It did sound like 84 shots in the back for 84 days was a lot. Worth it if you gotta but if pills are an option, that is great. Is there supposed to be a difference in efficacy or price?

No difference in efficacy from what I'm aware. But the pills are about 30% more expensive sadly. I've done 84 days with her and my other cat once before. But she reacts so badly to the injections that I think it would be better to switch her over sooner than later

Oh! Anyone who donates $100 or more, I'll be sending acrylic paintings out if you want one. Just please shoot me a message if you do and where you'd like it shipped

Aww Ember, god, i'm so sorry. I can't imagine how hard that must be, it's so tough because you can't explain to them WHY you're doing this.

For what it's worth I think you're making the right call, cats get soo physically stressed out and the pills definitely sound way more kitty friendly. I really hope they can pay you back for those remaining injections.

    Thanks for keeping us updated.

Oh no, poor little darling. I hope you're able to make a switch to the pills ASAP. My dog was heartworm positive when I adopted him and it broke my heart having to have him to go through the treatment and seeing him in such acute pain after the injections. I can't imagine having to stick it out for three months and seeing my pet confused and in pain all the while, regardless of it being for their own good.

Thank you both. My support says I should stick with the injections at least until I run out. Then I switch to pills. Guess we have to stick it out.

Today's injection went really well for Allie. But there's something up with her new cans of food and she hates them. They look weird compared to the last pack we bought. And I can't return them -.- And she peed on the floor today nowhere near her cat box. Hopefully that passes because I have zero idea what to do about that

Poor Allie had to get injected twice today because a lot leaked out on the first one. She's pissed. But I guess the more of the liquid meds I use, the quicker she goes on pills. Dumb way to think of it but still -.-
