I'm trying to exercise every option for getting my cat treated for a relapse of FIP. This disease was absolutely fatal only a few years ago. There are now some brands of meds that aren't available in the US due to being stuck in the bureaucratic crapshoot. Medicine is quite expensive but luckily not AS expensive as it was a few years ago when it first came out. It used to be 300/5ml vial and it is now 85/5ml vial. FIP is curable. Allie was treated for it 5 months ago and she was deemed cured. But I don't think we got it all out last time and it came back. 3k from an MRI, radiograph, and spinal tap at the neurologist later and we see FIP in her brain. Treatment begins again full force and at double the medication. We unfortunately need about 33 vials. 33 vials at 85/vial...you can imagine the expenses on top of what I'm already in debt from the diagnostic procedures. Anything will help. Anything is better than nothing. I've been given permission by the admins to post my GoFundMe campaign. So far Allie has enough for 4 vials of medicine. I want to thank all of you in advance. Even sharing my campaign with any friends would be a huge help.
