Well damn, that was pretty much all that was left to do on Neopets. Seems like they're shooting themselves in the foot with this new security. If we're all blocked who will play? lol

i've been played a page updating game today during 8 hours and didnt even got a captcha to type, maybe just refreshing could be more likely to trigger but i guess games like nq and dice-a-roo are not causing it, at least not for me

For once can they at least do some testing before implementing something all of a sudden? It’s almost the same situation as the forced password reset. And they’re still dealing with the aftermath of that. A lot of users still can’t get into ther accounts and now the users who can play, some of us are being blocked? Like what’s the point in even playing anymore. 💀

We are all holding out for something better when in reality will probably see the death of the site before any meaningful changes.

Well if i understand this correctly, are some elements of the site are being marked with the captcha to avoid any kind of benefit through a machine :s

I'm pretty sure that with this latest captcha system, any kind of progress on the beta site will be delayed, and that includes the NC UC, they'll have to do something soon if they want to bring the old players back!

I got unblocked after 8 or so hours, luckily it doesn't seem to be permanent? I wonder if repeatedly going back to the site/browsing using data or a VPN extends the time.

8 hours is still insane. How many hours a day does someone typically spend online? There’s not much to do on the site anymore so for the little amount I spend online, and I’m blocked would leave such a bad taste in my mouth. Hopefully they remove it/fix it/lower the time you’re blocked for, cuz this ain’t it. I feel for the employees who have to deal with the backlash bc of the incompetence of the people running it.

I just did my dailies on another shell and basically had like 3 tabs opened, refreshed a bit on the shop wizard and all good. No captcha.

Ofc I only did dailies and that's it, not spent too much time there.
