Football, which is known as soccer to our friends in US, is actually the most popular sport in the world. The Premier League - also known as English Premier League (EPL) and more recently Barclay's Premier League (BPL) - is the top-level of the football league in UK. The season usually runs for 7-8 months and plays almost every weekend! The Premier League 2022-23 kicks off this week, on Friday, August 5!
First game of the season, we have Crystal Palace hosting Arsenal at Selhurst Park. Recently promoted teams include Bournemouth, Fulham and Nottingham Forest.
I created this league solely to check on the interest levels, and also for participants to play around and have some fun! Take this as a mini competition of sorts! As this is slightly rushed, I do not have any prizes prepared. Sorry for that!

My fondest memories were back in early 2000s, where players like Alan Shearer, Craig Bellamy, David Beckham, etc. were still in the league! Do you have any teams that you support, even though you may not watch it?
