i like them! a bit plain but ngl i really like the base colors for them - looks super fun to customize

I agree. Great base to customize from. I feel like we need to remember they design the art with customization in mind.

Back then white pbs were cheap. Now everyone and their mom wants one to make a white Kacheek to customize so they’re 3.6m… but white is super plain.

i checked all the vanda colours and there has been no light coloured/pastel coloured vanda option that actually looks good and is customizable, which is probably why they have been so overlooked.

I'm not really a vanda fan - but i do like the base colors of these. Agreed that it feels like a lazy NC-wearable design, but at least it's not just a base yellow or red *eyes Scorchios & Kaus*

That is actually my problem with many post-conversion released pets. Royal is definitely one of the colors that should look whole and complete by its whole with settings imo but not just "ohh it has nice base colors" and only good after people spent many NP or (mainly) NC to customize them. Neopets has now prioritized customization above everything (which totally could be seen considering NCs are the major income) so I do think that make sense for them to do it, though. I feel they could save the nice base color for colors that was kind of born for customizations like pastel instead for royals, especially when many players aren't fond of customization or don't buy NC to access to the full experience of customization at all, but I highly doubt the lack of design in royal vandas are just "for the sake of customization" but the team has just been failing at make decent designs by themselves for a while

Christmas Vanda are adorable though, they have lovely base colors and lovely outfits that fits each other well to really gives out the character.

Ohh I must agree, haven't noticed the lavender hue makes a nice base. Normally I see the whole combo so I miss this one
