JN's advice is really dangerous. I've been here and there trying to get people to understand that the safest way is to change all their passwords... but they say that's a waste of creativity. Sigh.

Not only is this entire ordeal a circus, I've had to explain what 2FA even is to people. Some folks really do make hacking too easy as a whole.
friendly reminder to please use a password manager/2fa, it will save you so much headache.

Well what a royal shit show to wake up to. Not surprised that this has happened to be honest, but still very concerning nonetheless.
In regards to password managers, what ones are the most reliable? Never bothered with them myself, always used unique passwords on everything I visit with a system in my head for remembering them all. Kind of curious to look into one now though just for that extra convenience/peace of mind.

I can't say I'm surprised. Like others, I was already kind of side-eying neo_truths and how popular they were on the reddit and stuff. It's never a good sign when people can just pull out info and use it how they see fit. Thankfully I keep all my neo pws different from any other accounts because I don't trust neo/JS at all lol
