My heart and my brain have been getting so excited looking at these the last few days but also so scared! It’s so wild to think that we are something so small on the grand scale of things. Makes me feel lonely and brings a lot of existential dread….but at the same time it also makes me feel like all is vast and technically possible and there could be so much more to this than we think.
Thank you for sharing again! It truly is remarkable we get to live in a time period where we’re able to see photos like these.

I'd only seen the first picture! I didn't know there were more! This makes me so happy and makes me feel REAL small. Its stunning how this all exists in the same realm as us. We can't normally see it 'cause it's so far away and vast but it's still there! Like LOOK! All those stars and galaxies! Worlds we'll never see up close! Life we have no idea of! The sunsets and sunrises on different planets! Its so vast and wonderful!

I need to lie on the floor for a while and just stare at these photos on my phone for a while

So I'd seen some of Hank Green's tweets about these images, and was one of the people I thought of when I mentioned people who were smarter and more eloquent than me, but his video today on the images, was really really wonderful. It's only four minutes, spare them for a watch, it's worth it.
