I *just* got to level 11! I'm convinced now that upgrading the same building gives the most exp (even if grinding is painful).

Oooh I'll try that! I will report back on how much upgrading I creases EXP. I'd way rather do that! I have a bunch of items I can throw into the molten mixer!

Do update! Upgrading buildings and amenities is a great and easy way to build that XP! I 100% recommend rather than crafting and placing decorations.

Got an Island Builders avatar awarded for the altador cup section.
Now I have that and the stamp I'll probably drop Island Builders for awhile. Those please tag me if something new/cool turns up in game

I am wondering if it was rewarded after I upgraded my power Gem a certain amount? As I feel I reached level 11 later than this time. Did anyone else get this?

I just looked it up on Jelly Neonit was released in 2020 and is a no trade item. It doesn't say what the unlock mechanism is.

Wow the size difference is insane. I've not seen it on the boards, but on a profile, just pulling the image link from the neobard preference gave me this:

Wow hahaha I haven't seen anyone posting on the boards with the new avatar but I wonder why they thought this was a good idea

I decided I would test the upgrading building theory with screenshots. It does work (yay) but it will be a very long time before I reach the last level (boo).

I'm legit thinking about giving up. Level 11 when going from the forest to the crash site requires you to grind nearly the entire bar of EXP since there's not that many story elements fml. Literally JUST finished grinding Level 10.

Turns out the last level is filled with more Dacardia plot elements. It just takes like 2000 building material points to get there from level 14.

By the later levels at least, there's more pets to gather with simultaneously. It comes in handy with the grinding.

I wish Island Builder was able to zoom out further. I have a small phone and it sucks having to scroll constantly on the laggy screen to look at all of the areas. Maybe a mode that pauses some of the background animations? It could help with the battery drain as well.
I swapped back to an iPhone so I'll be going back to the beta test, I might mention it in my feedback.
