cK's Pokémon Showdown 2022 [DISCUSSION]

Signed up, made an account in both places and have a team ready!
Im excited! Ive only ever battled on the main game with friends and haven't done it on showdown, so this will be super exciting!

A quick tip: the Showdown forums have a thread with recommended teams by rules (so in our case, gen 8 OU). Last time I based my team on one of these recommendations and tweaked it a bit according to our rules, @(you need an account to see links) 's guide and the experience I gained while practicing.

After looking into it a bit, I think I might use my same team from last year haha. Gotta tweak out a few moves I think would fit better, and then try some practice matches against other players to test.

You should be able to play showdown on your phone via web browser. The tricky thing may be timing your games with your opponent around your vacation. If you feel like you can do it feel free to join

Also people are welcome to complete practice rounds against eachother as well just to get the hang of battling if you don't want to practice against randoms.

This is such a cool event! I wish I was better at Competitive Pokemon, I typically just use cute Pokemon on my team instead of what is actually competitive LOL...
