Reporting UCs for the purpose of getting a replica?

Hello all! Hopefully this is the right place to ask for Neo help.
I was wondering if anyone knew how to go about "reporting(?)" your UC that you think might have an inappropriate name (for the purposes of getting a replica). Do you do it yourself on a shell? Does the system need to automatically flag it? Is there risk of losing the pet entirely? Just curious!

I think you can easily just send in a ticket to ask if the pet's name is appropriate.

But I think it isn't guaranteed you'll get a replica though! but please correct me if i'm wrong!

If a Google search for word(s) in your pet's name turns up social stigma, then you have sufficient grounds to start a discussion with the Neopets team about having it replaced. You're not pulling a fast one, so don't approach the situation like you're trying to. No frills. No pomp. No angles. Just submit a support ticket explaining the mishap and politely inquire as to what can be done about it.

I had a pet with a VERY questionable name which I sent in a ticket for a few months ago - a sexual name, one that would for sure bring up inappropriate results when searched on the internet. And worse than some of the other "inappropriately" named pets that had been deleted in the past. However when Alice replied she said "the meaning of the word in this context is not against our terms so the pet would not be removed", I was shocked, lol. It honestly just seems like you have to get the "right" Alice to do it. xD Now seems like a good time to ticket inappropriate pets because it seems like they've gotten more lenient with which names deserve a replacement. I would reticket if I still had the pet.

I think you’re right. With a little bit of luck I’ll get a different Alice and will replace the UC. The name isn’t that bad but with TNT ya never know and I’d rather have a replica than them randomly deleting my pet 🤪

Yeah I didn't consider they'd just delete it as an option, but I don't think TNT is willing to do that right now they seem like they're seriously trying to rebrand and they're not being jerks about it so far. Last I heard tony p wasn't on the team anymore (Is this true? I legit don't know I don't keep up too hard with neopets anymore.) so at least you shouldn't get him when it comes down to it, which is what really matters. (fuck you tony p)

Tony might not be there anymore but I'm fairly certain Rico still is and he's got a stick up his butt just as he always did.
