Okay, I've been thoroughly impressed with Ms Marvel so far. Has anyone watched it at all? I remember hearing about it before it's release and I was like "meh, I just want another season of Loki" but boiiiii was I blown away!

I've actually found the show incredibly relatable. Conversations Kamala has with her parents are almost the same as what I've had growing up as young girl in a Middle Eastern household (I know she's not Middle Eastern, but those conversations hit home!).

I watched the most recent episode today, and really enjoyed it. What does everyone think so far?

Actually, before seeing this thread I posted on my insta a couple minutes ago that everyone should watch. It's so colorful and interesting

Also, seeing more culture in Marvel makes me excited. Representation Matters and I learn a lot too!

Looking forward to what else this show brings and how It will lead us to Captain Marvel 2

Yes!!! Today's episode was amazing! I love their creativity, that team needs a raise because the funky little animations they do in the credits are *chef's kiss*. I agree, I love how they show representation, it's just... it's just wonderful! It's something I can relate to and be like "I know this feeling! I've had these conversations with my mum! I understand what it's like to not be allowed to go out with out some kind of restriction, or questioning!".

I haven't watched it yet, but this thread has got me excited!! As a brown girl myself, I love seeing POC representation in media.
Definitely need to pay for that Disney+ subscription now!
