It's Summertime!

It's finally summer time!
(at least for those of us in the northern hemisphere!)



So, I want to know...

What is your favourite thing to do in the summer? Are you a total beach bum? Lake lifer? How do you like to stay cool? Popsicles, ice cream, good old fashioned AC?
Maybe you have a favourite memory from the summer time? I wanna hear about it!

I will go first!

As a kid, we would always go to the outdoor waterslide park in June at the end of the school year. We would stay all day until we were EXHAUSTED. There was this one slide that was super scary to me, it was really fast, had big drops and was in pitch black. I remember the year I turned 12, I was FINALLY brave enough to go down it by myself. So I did, and it was a blast! Once it was time to leave, we'd get a twist (chocolate and vanilla swirled) soft serve ice cream cone.

Looks like we’re gonna drop to 60F this weekend, so that means I’ll get to sleep in my hello kitty onesie one more time before we get the full summer blast 😌

Oh I'm also team, keep-the-room-cold-and-bundle-in-bed. Hell even in day-to-day I like to keep my place cold and then constantly have a robe or blanket. It just feels cozier that way.

Ooo yes def agree sleeping In the cold is the best. I’ve always got the fan blasting. I feel so comfy and cozy all bundled up. Being hot is the worst feeling ever in my opinion. It’s so uncomfortable

def on the same team as well. the cooler the better.
I can't stand a fan when i'm sleeping though that's a real no go because of the sound for me.
i just block any sunlight from entering the room which keeps it cool a lot already and ventilate over night with a box of icecubes in front of the open window.

Yes!! I even sleep cold in the winter, I have my fan on all year I just heat up too quickly so a cool room helps me sleep.

I have my fan on year round too, and an electric blanket I use at nights regardless of the weather. Back issues, you know?
