It's Summertime!

It's finally summer time!
(at least for those of us in the northern hemisphere!)



So, I want to know...

What is your favourite thing to do in the summer? Are you a total beach bum? Lake lifer? How do you like to stay cool? Popsicles, ice cream, good old fashioned AC?
Maybe you have a favourite memory from the summer time? I wanna hear about it!

I will go first!

As a kid, we would always go to the outdoor waterslide park in June at the end of the school year. We would stay all day until we were EXHAUSTED. There was this one slide that was super scary to me, it was really fast, had big drops and was in pitch black. I remember the year I turned 12, I was FINALLY brave enough to go down it by myself. So I did, and it was a blast! Once it was time to leave, we'd get a twist (chocolate and vanilla swirled) soft serve ice cream cone.

Oh my word, I may have to look into something like this! As I said, Im in an apartment that is RIGHT next to the pool and its always so busy. I let my cat out so he can do his stuff and to walk around, but he likes to jump the gate that goes RIGHT into the pool area.
The kids always want to catch him, and I even heard a few say they wanted to STEAL my cat...
He's use to going outside, so this would be great! He can enjoy the sun and relax and I dont have worry about him jumping the gate lol

But I do admit that its cute when I peek outside and he's chilling under a tree in a nice cool patch of dirt so he can keep cool.
Im always like "Topper, I have the AC in in the house! Get your butt inside if you want to stay cool!"
His perch is right next to the AC as well, so I just find it funny lol

:o If someone said they'd steal my cat, I'd throw hands. And I'm not a violent person lol. But Topper sounds freaking precious. Okay, this time next year, I expect us all to show catio pics that we've built, deal? Lol

I love taking him out for walking, he enjoys it so much ♥ runs and plays on the grass, we put ice on their water for them to lick too, tried once a tuna and chicked flavoured ices, they flipped!

This is Allie, my CH girl. And I showed a pic of Finley earlier. I have 2 more but don't want to take over this with my cat pics XD She's such a prissy thing, idk if I would ever be comfortable having her outside, even on a catio. We have a lot of wildlife in my yard and it makes me nervous

Yesss! I find grey babies are the sassiest, prissiest cats. Orange cats are the dumbest imo. I love Finley but he's dopey lol. I'm convinced all orange cats share the same, single brain cell lol.

Ugh yall making me want a popsicle irl. We call em otter pops but idk the actually brand or name. It's the long, skinny ones that you usually get at the grocery store that aren't frozen and you freeze em yourself. That's that good good lol

In the porch that I have here, he likes to relax right in the shade after I water the plants. Im guessing it cools the area off, but the floor seems so warm! I try to bring him inside, but he just wants to rest in the heat lol
So the catio would be great for him and myself
