It's Summertime!

It's finally summer time!
(at least for those of us in the northern hemisphere!)



So, I want to know...

What is your favourite thing to do in the summer? Are you a total beach bum? Lake lifer? How do you like to stay cool? Popsicles, ice cream, good old fashioned AC?
Maybe you have a favourite memory from the summer time? I wanna hear about it!

I will go first!

As a kid, we would always go to the outdoor waterslide park in June at the end of the school year. We would stay all day until we were EXHAUSTED. There was this one slide that was super scary to me, it was really fast, had big drops and was in pitch black. I remember the year I turned 12, I was FINALLY brave enough to go down it by myself. So I did, and it was a blast! Once it was time to leave, we'd get a twist (chocolate and vanilla swirled) soft serve ice cream cone.

If only we can have some of your degrees. Yesterday the temperature here fell to -3 degrees and it never went over 10. Its so cold!

Yup, I've been using the AC this whole week, my dogs are breathing like they're super hot too

Temperatures are getting higher and higher and I'm dying! Every day I go to the gym walking
and lately I'm sweating before I even start training...

I need Fall to arrive ASAP

If only we can have some of your degrees. Yesterday the temperature here fell to -3 degrees and it never went over 10. Its so cold!

Wow that's hard!! Just being at 4 got me trembling and dying from cold lol

Oh man that's such a high average. 4 would be such a welcoming change. I think at night it's getting down to around9-13ish so that's a nice relief. I don't want to complain about the heat too much because soon enough Cinna and I will be in a 65 degree swing and into the -30s to -40s lol. So taking in the heat while I can!

Today did another round of gold. ALLEGEDLY the UV was supposed to be low but my legs and shoulders bed to differ. Little toasty which will make golf tomorrow interesting lol

That's wild. We're definitely in pretty much record sun and high temps in my area still!
If that's celsius, I think the coldest weather I've ever experienced is around -3 haha. I am a big baby and would much rather be sweaty than that cold!

It kinda went down? On July we got like 42C and here is very dry so while I'd rather have 18C maybe 30~ is not bad for the moment.

-30/40 seems so wild to me, would that be for your fall? Wondering because you said soon enough and there's still left time for winter

-30C and below is winter lol. Fall temperatures here range from +15C to -15C typically. Summer temperatures range from mid 30sC to as low as 10C at night.

So where I am now is actually winter time. But it doesn't matter because it is always summer weather here.

We have been having "low" temperature warnings for days because it has been in the 16c range. People out here wearing sweaters and puffer coats like they're about to freeze solid

I think this is my ideal weather as long as it isn't too humid :eyes: I'm literally in the office right now with a sweater on just cause the inside AC temperature is too cold!!
