Customization is cool but I also like to keep it simple, and by that I mean mostly backgrounds and other stuff with no pets wearing too human-ly clothers or human hair and stuff. Yeah I know I'm playing neopets but It just looks weird to me

Ogrins are cute and good, they just have been given the short end of the stick when it comes to colors.

It's so mean that they were created as an f you to the people taking over and were immediatedly shunned. I don't personally love their design aside from the baby and robot but they do deserve better as did we when they picked a pet hoping we'd hate it.

Sometimes I wish that there wasn't a trading tier and that we all just traded for whatever we liked on the PC. I think the pet trading game would be a lot more fun. The trading requirements and the monotonous board bumping to trade up takes the fun out of Neo for me.

UCs are ugly and have had a more negative impact on the Neopets website than any other single issue, ever. TNT should have converted them all a decade and a half ago.

I love the UC designs but I agree that it has had such a negative impact on Neo after conversion. I sometimes wish that they would have just converted all the pets instead of leaving some of them UC, trading would be an entirely different ball game if that was the case, and probably a lot more enjoyable too.

i hate most customization. wigs on pets? can't stand it. also sloth didn't do anything wrong!

I'm this way with most clothes on pets. I don't like the tops, bottoms, dresses. A lot of them look awkward. I do like wigs, wings, and backgrounds (foregrounds too) though! Just adds a pop of color and a little more character to the pet.

Unpopular opinion: Neopets has done a great job in the last year or so by expanding their merchandise offerings (with the exception of the Metaverse/NFT fiasco they're determined to run into the ground). Things like the Cakeworthy collaboration, revamping their own merch store, a(nother) mobile game, and an upcoming cookbook are really great options to remind the general populace that hey, Neopets is still around!

I have to 100% agree with you. It seems like they’re trying to expand those things and it’s been amazing to see. I would LOVE to see more plushies. I miss them so much.

I actually agree. At first I was skeptical until you excluded NFTs lol. I love all the new merch that is coming out and I hope they continue to do these collaborations. The cookbook caught me off guard, I want fun recipes, but I also want reasonable ones that people would actually make. I like that Neo seems to be stepping out of it's comfort zone/norm more!

Absolutely! It's really a shame the nft garbage is being shoved down everyone's throat and overshadowing the legitimately cool stuff they've been working on.

To tack onto that another potentially unpopular opinion I have is that TNT is doing a great job with what they have to work with and the limited staff and resources they're given. Spaghetti code reliant on Flash from the 90s and a quick to anger fan base is not an easy job.
