Once you've entered a foreign account which doesn't belong to you, obviously you'll first have to secure the account so the original user doesn't get it back.
Ive experienced this first hand about four times already, where after i changed the email & password, the original user is able to get the password back. My theory is like, after you change the email, the original email is still valid for a little while. So to prevent this, if i have access to the original email i add filters to block emails from neopets. I also send a (you need an account to see links) to that email. On the greeting, at the bottom of the email there's a option to unsubscribe to emails from neopets. After im done all this, i can start to search the account ^^
