I'm not celebrating per se, but I did get pride pins this year and wear them when I'm outside and at work.

I never really felt very connected to LGBTQI+ communities at all, since I'm a ciswoman and in a het relationship and ever since I learned about the "bihet" slur I've always been a bit reluctant to get in touch or actually go on a CSD. Maybe one day with a couple of queer friends.
I'm very open about being into women, I'm not hiding from anyone but I also kinda never felt "gay" enough to fit if that makes sense? Maybe that's just my anxiety though. :'D

Reading this thread is giving me the warm feelings and a tad bit of optimism is shoving the borderline misanthrope away for while - thank you everyone for sharing and happy pride! 🌈🌈🌈

Pride update it was fun! A cute standout moment was there was a guy walking around selling roses, and one of my friends just as a classic drunk person thing to say was like "ooooh to buy for your loverrrrrr," to which I was like "ah yes that's something I have for sure" and she just RAN AWAY and BOUGHT ME A ROSE ;-;

The parade is passing by really close to my apartment and I'm second-guessing my wariness of crowds and maybe wanna check it out, but also it's going to be very hot.

I was able to celebrate pride by wearing a rainbow mask!! I got compliments on it too when I went out, which was so nice.

I didn't really celebrate Pride, but I did watch a lot of different LGBTQ+ movies & tv shows..

As someone who works in the government, it was nice to see pride related topics and how different agencies were celebrating pride.

Happy Pride! Been a hell of a month but I'm trying to keep it together 😂 I've wanted to go to some local Pride events but there haven't been a lot of small-scale ones!

I’ve been wearing my rainbow/pride shoes every day. And a proud moment:

Last week was indigenous peoples day and we did some indigenous programming. A child asked a question but it wasn’t really a question. He said “I know that a long time ago boys were supposed to marry girls but now boys can marry boys and girls can marry girls and I like that because that’s super cool”. He’s FOUR. I nearly bawled my eyes out. The love he had in his voice when he said it. I died.
