Honestly, it's not a big deal to just transfer them from shells to main. TNT doesn't care. I've done it on my main loads of times.

If you're worried you can cycle them through some more shells. But transfer works fine in my experience.

If you're buying them for your main to put them in album it shouldn't be much of an issue. It's probably when you're trying to resell then it will garner attention from people on the boards > leading to someone reporting etc.

Also with the recent neo_truths drama on restocking, some people have their account names shown and if this carries on, buying it might also risk your main so do be cautious when purchasing.

Most people sell them here together with shells where the stamps have been sitting and secured in for a long time, so it's not much of a problem, just transfer it to your main and album it.

The ones that need a bit of securing are the stamps that are purchased recently and might be in the limelight. Usually from purchase day, the more expensive it is, the longer it should sit in a shell account till it gets sold.

Tbh if you stay off the boards and keep a low profile it's pretty unlikely that you'll get iced. I've done pretty shady things like mass transfer items/np to my main in the past and nothing has happened for months. It's mainly just mass reporting that'll do you in these days cause TNT can't do their jobs properly. That being said given what Unown has just said a bit of caution should probably be exercised if you have an account that you really care about.

Pretty much seconding what everyone else said, but from personal experience what I have done (and no issues so far, knock on wood) is that after buying whatever I want if it comes on a shell/sits a bit longer just to be safe, I send it to one intermediary account that is a nf of my main and let it sit a bit longer there. Then I pretend like it's my birthday or some other special occasion and just "gift" myself the items.

Buy the stamp, leave it on the shell it came with for as long as you can. Don't rush to transfer it to your main.

When transferring, you can just send it to your main with the "Send to Neofriend" function, or offer it on a junk trading lot, or even shop snipe yourself.
Of course, the best thing to do is to simulate an actual sale if you can, by using inflated shitty junk items (that are in reality worth A LOT less than their TP value), and offering the stamp on the lot.

But most importantly is to let the stamp rest on your shell as long as possible.


Caveat: With people like neo_truths doing more digging than TNT does, you can't guarantee that you won't get exposed, especially if he's just querying for the item on any account, then posting usernames publically.

When you guys are logging into these shells, are you using a proxy? If so, how does one determine what a safe country/IP address would be?
