Hi everyone! Even though I have been a cK member for quite some time now, I figured it would best to reintroduce myself since I have been pretty inactive these past 2 years or so.

My name is Cath and I'm a French Canadian. I am currently doing a master degree in Audiology and I'll be graduating this summer (tbh I am excited, yet absolutely terrified at the same time ). In my free time, I love playing video games as well as watching anime and reading manga! I am also a sucker for cute things in general.

I used to play Neo a lot back in the days (which is how I discovered cK in the first place!), but I haven't been active there much for the past few years due to my studies taking most of my time. I tried going back a few weeks ago and I was so uberly disappointed with the beta layout change. :')

I am super glad to see cK is still as active as ever, I really missed hanging around here! I'm glad to be back and I can't wait to meet you guys!

@(you need an account to see links) Aw thank you for greeting me in french, that's very sweet! <3 (I love the pun by the way! haha) If I had to pick a favorite genre, I'd say that I love action-adventure and jrpgs games (I'm a huge fan of Zelda and Kingdom Hearts ), but I honestly love playing all sort of video games so it's hard to narrow it down. I'm currently playing the Final Fantasy VII remake for the first time on the PS4 and I'm really enjoying it! Are you into video games as well?

FF X was actually the first FF game I've played, but I still haven't gotten around to play X-2 yet! I'll definitely have to give it a try sometime soon Aaaaー I also love Animal Crossing! It's such an adorable, fun and soothing game TuT I have actually never heard of New World (I'll have to check it out!), but I'm a bit familiar with GTA and Civilization! I haven't gotten the chance to play them much though since I own a Mac and have to borrow my bf's computer in order to play, but they both seem like great games from what I've experienced

X is a really great one for sure. and certainly whenever you have time! omgosh, I can't get over the cuteness. who's your fave character?? def need to check out New World! it's like, a combination of everything (gathering, quests, towns, housing, decor) just in old times lol. that's nice at least you have your bf's pc to let you play so you don't miss out on too much.

I'm unfortunately terrible at games (I stayed on the very old ones) but I'm not that bad at animes or mangas. Are you watching/reading anything right now?

Thank you!! Don't worry about it, retro/old games definitely have their own charm! I am a bit behind with seasonal anime right now, but I'm waiting impatiently for the last season of Attack on Titan to be over so I can binge watch it. I'm kinda doing the same with the ongoing season of Demon Slayer as well! I have also been watching Ranking of Kings and Blue Period these past few days. As for manga, I haven't read much lately as I'm rarely in the state of mind to do so after spending most of my day doing my classes readings But there are a few series that I'm super impatient to start reading like Witch Hat Atelier, the Case Study of Vanitas and Given I also plan on catching up with Yona of the Dawn and Golden Kamuy as soon as possible! What about you? Anything you're watching/reading right now?

Ahh I'm seeing Attack on Titan since I can't wait for all season to finish lol So far so good!! I believe you'll like it.

And about manga I'm (off and on) still reading Jojo Steel Ball Run because well I like Jojo series and kinda mixed anime/manga on it. Steel is Part 7 so after finish reading it I'll go with last part which is 8th (unless the creator decides to make more). I remember seeing an advertising of Vanitas but haven't watched it yet, seemed pretty interesting!

Another anime I saw not so long ago was The Promise of Neverland.
